BEFORE JUNE 25, 2009

August 29, 1958: Born at 12:13 AM as Michael Joseph Jackson in Gary, Indiana, to Katherine Esther Scruse and Joseph Walter Jackson.

1971: Michael Jackson releases his first solo single “Got To Be There.” (Video)

January 27, 1984: Michael Jackson received hospital treatment for serious burns to his head after his hair caught alight during a freak filming accident. The 25-year-old entertainer was singing his hit “Billie Jean” for a Pepsi commercial in Los Angeles when the special effects went wrong.
Fans saw a firework display erupt behind the superstar, showering him in sparks and setting alight to his hair.  Some studio audience members said he was so calm, they thought the incident was part of the act. Michael Jackson was taken to hospital where he was treated for second degree burns. Plastic surgeon Steven Hoeffin said Jackson, who was voted America’s entertainer of the year, could need surgery to his head. “He is in discomfort”, said the doctor. “It will take a few weeks to determine the hair loss.”

1984: Michael Jackson first underwent plastic surgery at the age of 26, slightly narrowing his nose while becoming famous for his hit song “Thriller”. 

1985: Michael Jackson obtained a second nose job and permanent eyeliner tattoos around his eyes. At this point Jackson was still at the peak of his career, with an entourage of staff taking care of all needs while he continued performing, entertaining, and donating to charities. (Full Article)

September 1986: Photos of Michael in a hyperbaric chamber are published in the National Enquirer. Jackson later says it’s part of his plan to extend his life beyond its “natural span.” (Full Article)

May 1988: Michael Jackson moves into the Neverland Ranch. It is believed he paid 17 million dollars for the property alone.  Once completed, with home, amusement park, zoo, and two steam locomotive railroads it

1993: A lawsuit is filed against him accusing him of seducing and abusing thirteen-year-old Jordy Chandler. (Video)

May 26, 1994: Michael marries Lisa Marie Presley.

January 1996: Lisa Marie Presley files for a divorce.

November 14, 1996: Michael marries his dermatologist’s secretary, Debbie Rowe.

February 13, 1997: Debbie Rowe has a baby boy, Prince Michael Joseph, Jr. The godmother is Elizabeth Taylor. The godfather is Macaulay Culkin.

April 3, 1998: Debbie Rowe gives birth to Paris Michael Katherine. Macaulay Culkin is the godfather.

October 1999: Debbie Rowe divorces Michael.

October 22, 2002: Prince Michael II is born. The identity of the mother is never released.

November 20, 2003: Michael is taken into custody by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department on charges of child molestation. He posts a three million dollar bail. (Full Article)

January 16, 2004: Pleads not guilty to child molestation charges.

2004: Michael Jackson received a new nose made out of part of his ear, through the efforts of Dr. Werner Mang, a German plastic surgeon. (Full Article)

09.22AM: Two people working for Dr. Murray arrive at his Houston storage unit to pick up some items. One says it was a box of used needles and one says it was a chair. The storage unit Manager says that they took 3-5 boxes. (Full Article)

09.30AM: Personal Chef, Kai Chase, thinks "…maybe Mr. Jackson is sleeping late." because Dr. Murray has not been down to get Michael’s breakfast. (Full Article)

October 1, 2009: An autopsy report obtained by The Associated Press was released showing that Michael weighed 136 lbs., was in good health, had a strong heart, and all organs seemed to be in good condition. Aside from propofol and the sedatives, the only substances found in his system were the local anesthetic, Lidocaine, sometimes used to numb injection sites and ephedrine, a commonly used resuscitation stimulant. November 22, 2009: Michael Jackson also won four AMAs, setting a record for the most wins by any single artist and nabbing Favorite Pop/Rock Album from Swift. The late singer won Favorite Male Artist in both the Pop/Rock and Soul/R&B categories, as well as Favorite Album in the Pop/Rock and Soul/R&B categories for ‘Number Ones’. February 8, 2010: Dr. Conrad Murray is arraigned and pleads not guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges in the death of Michael Jackson. Bail is set at $75,000 and he is able to return to work. Next court date is scheduled for April 5, 2010. (Full Article)

April 5, 2010: Dr. Conrad Murray appeared in court today for a hearing in his involuntary manslaughter case. Judge Michael E. Pastor was assigned to be the newly presiding judge in his case. He scheduled Murray’s next court appearance for June 14, 2010, when a date is expected to be set for a preliminary hearing, during which the judge will determine if there is enough evidence to require him to stand trial. June 14, 2010: Conrad Murray appears in court where the judge refused to ban Dr. Murray from practicing medicine. Michael Jackson’s family members, Joe, Katherine, Randy, Jermaine and LaToya attended the hearing. (Full Article)

June 17, 2010: Katherine gave an interview with former MJ confidante Marc Schaffel in an effort to promote her new book “Never Can Say Goodbye: The Katherine Jackson Archives”, a curious decision because Schaffel was heavily involved in Michael’s life at one point, but the two had a huge falling out which resulted in several lawsuits.
