Wherever the members of the Jackson family were today, they were mourning Michael.
While Michael’s siblings paid their respects to their fallen brother with a trip to his mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif., the King of Pop’s mother, Katherine, flew with Michael’s kids to their family’s old home in Gary, Ind., for the unveiling of a monument in honor of the first anniversary of her global-superstar son’s death.
Katherine and the kids—who were vacationing in Hawaii all week—initially planned to return to Los Angeles tonight to be with the rest of the family, a source tells E! News. But they might not make it back until tomorrow, when Katherine’s supposedly making an appearance at another tribute/book-launch party at the Beverly Hilton.
Lisa Marie Presley recently posted a request to all Michael Jackson fans on her MySpace page asking for fans to send sunflowers to Michael’s tomb, as this, according to her, was his favorite flower.
Last night Michael’s family and friends attended the burial to prove once and for all that Michael was dead. Exactly 70 days after his alleged death. And he will be housed in the Great Mausoleum to ensure that nobody can see him.

Yet again there was no emotion shown by the family.
The public were shown what the Jackson family wanted them to see. Almost as soon as the hearse opened it’s doors containing the casket the cameras abruptly ended.
